Press Release
The Director-General, Bureau of Public Service Reforms (BPSR), Dr. Joe Abah has lauded the Federal Government for the opportunity accorded him to contribute his quota to the service of the Fatherland as he bowed out of office today after serving meritoriously for four years.

Following the retirement of Mr. Festus Oyaide, as Head of Strategic Communications Department (SCD) in the Bureau of Public Service Reforms (BPSR), Mrs. Florence Dibiaezue-Eke has resumed duties as the new Head of the Department.

In it’s effort to cut youth restiveness and reduce unemployment in the country, the Federal Government has initiated a Social Intervention Scheme called N-Power to capture those unemployed across the country.

Two staff of the Bureau of Public Service Reforms (BPSR) were honoured with the Presidential Civil Service Award, and Head of the Civil Service of the Federation Commendation Award respectively. The staff have received the 2016 Civil Service awards for their hardwork and dedication to duty.

The Director-General, Bureau of Public Service Reforms, (BPSR) Dr. Joe Abah is championing a focus on the reform activities of  Agencies and Parastatals since they impact more directly on the citizenry rather than the Ministries which hitherto had been the case.
