The Acting Director-General, Bureau of Public Service Reforms, (BPSR), Mr. Dasuki .I. Arabi has called on Department of International Development – Partnership to Engage Reform and Learn (DFID – PERL) to continue to support the Bureau to improve delivery of goods and services in Nigeria.

The Ag. DG who made this known during a courtesy call on DFID in their premises in Abuja recently said that with the exit of Dr. Joe Abah whose tenure expired on the 29^th August, 2017, there was the need to formally introduce the new Management and to assure them that the exit of the former DG did not leave any vacuum as the transition was seamless.

While calling for support to execute all outstanding projects started by the former DG and new ones, Mr. Arabi gave them the assurance that Civil Servants were good and capable of delivery on any project assigned to them.

Furthermore, he disclosed that the team was aware of the extent of the relationship between the Bureau and DFID as the former DG involved staff in all the programmes that were jointly pursued.

Speaking earlier, the National Programme Manager, DFID, Mr. Mark Walker observed that it is very important for them as a programme to have the Bureau at the center leading the reforms efforts not just within the Federal Government but also with the inter-connections on reforms across the whole of Nigeria.

Mr. Walker said that they were looking forward to a strong relationship with the Bureau and would support it in any way possible.
