The Director General, Bureau of Public Service Reforms, Dr. Joe Abah has advocated for partnership between the Bureau of Public Service Reforms and the Federal Ministry of Information in the publicity and dissemination of Public Service Reforms.
Dr. Abah made this known recently in a workshop for Resident Information Officers (RIOs) tagged: “COMMUNICATING PUBLIC SERVICE REFORMS IN THE 21ST CENTURY” at
Nanet suites, Abuja. He stressed the need for the collaboration cannot be over emphasised considering that “ the foot soldiers of the ministry serve as information experts and Heads of Press and Public Relation Units in all the MDAs.
The DG also urged the RIOs to see members of the Press as partners in progress rather than adversaries, adding that; ‘’as public servants, we must be available to answer questions and explain government policies.
