Mr. Ekpe Egbe

Biography

Mr. Ekpe Egbe hails from the Igbo-Imabana community in Abi Local Government Area, Cross River State. Born in Lagos, he completed his early education at Army Children’s School in Yaba before obtaining his Advanced Levels qualification from the Cross River State School of Basic Studies. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, and a master’s degree in Public Administration from Nasarawa State University.

Mr. Egbe began his civil service career at the Federal Ministry of Water Resources and Rural Development and later served at the Federal Ministry of Interior, where he handled police pension processing under the Old Benefit Scheme. With a wealth of experience in public service administration, he continues to contribute to the growth and efficiency of Nigeria’s public sector.

  • Served as pool staff under the Office of the Head of Civil Service of the Federation
  • Posted to the Federal Ministry of Interior, where he worked in the defunct Police Pension Office, managing retirement benefits and entitlements for police retirees under the Old Benefit Scheme (non-contributory pension system)
