Udemba Francis Uche

Biography

Mr. Udemba Francis Uche is the Deputy Director and Head of the Corporate Services Department at the Bureau of Public Service Reforms (BPSR). Born on September 23, 1968, in Oguta, Imo State, he holds a B.A. in History from the University of Abuja and has had an extensive career in public service, spanning several ministries, including the Ministry of Petroleum Resources, Ministry of Defence, and the Federal Civil Service Commission.

With over two decades of experience, Mr. Udemba has demonstrated expertise in administration and human resource management. In 2017, he was promoted to Assistant Director, SGL. 15, and in 2024, he was awarded a Doctorate of Fellow by the Chartered Institute of Human Resource Management (CIHRM). He is married and blessed with children.

  • Worked with the National Sports Commission, Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, and Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development
  • Served at the Federal Ministry of Defence (2012–2014)
  • Served at the Federal Ministry of Transport (2014–2017)
  • Served at the Federal Civil Service Commission (2017–2021)
  • Promoted to Assistant Director, SGL. 15, in 2017
  • Currently serves as Deputy Director and Head of Corporate Services Department, Bureau of Public Service Reforms (BPSR)
