Following the on-going restructuring and merger of some MDAs, the Federal Government has set up the Committee on Review of MDAs to ensure that appropriate actions are taken to ensure seamless transition and operation of affected MDAs.

The sixteen member committee is chaired by a former Head of Service of the Federation, Engr Mrs Ebele O. Okeke,CFR with Mr. Ochapa Ogenyi, Director, MDGs Office as Secretary.

The terms of reference of the Committee includes review of each Ministry’s functions and responsibilities and determine appropriate functions to avoid overlap, duplication of functions and redundancy; and assess current organization structure of each Ministry and recommend an improved structure for efficient and effective service delivery amongst others.

The Committee had its inaugural meeting on November, 17th 2015.
