The Federal Government has adopted the Bureau of Public Service Reforms scorecard which would serve as peer review mechanism as among Ministries, Department and Agencies (MDAs) to boost compliance to standards for government websites.
The Acting Director-General of the Bureau, Mr. Dasuki Arabi who made this known recently in Abuja said the Bureau developed the scorecard to rank websites of the MDAs in living up to its mandate.
He said this was informed by the fact that MDAs as engine room for the implemention of government policies do not have functional and up to date websites to drive effective implementation of the federal government’s Executive Order E001 on the Ease of Doing Business.
According to him, as a clear demonstration of its concern for constraints to doing business in Nigeria, the Executive Order was signed on May 18, 2017 by Vice President Yemi Osibanjo.
